Studying a world language in high school offers numerous benefits that extend beyond the classroom, making it a valuable and necessary educational pursuit for students. In essence, studying a world language in high school not only equips students with practical language skills but also nurtures cultural awareness. It prepares them for a diverse and interconnected world, offering them a competitive edge in both their academic pursuits and future careers.

French I introduces students to the fundamentals of the French language and French-speaking cultures. Through a combination of structured online curriculum and interactive assignments, students develop skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Emphasis is placed on basic conversation, vocabulary acquisition, and introductory grammar. Cultural projects and performance tasks encourage students to explore and appreciate the diversity of French-speaking communities around the world.
French II builds upon the foundational skills developed in French I, enabling students to communicate with greater confidence and depth. The course expands vocabulary and grammatical knowledge, and emphasizes listening and speaking proficiency in authentic contexts. Students read and interpret short texts, participate in extended conversations, and complete projects focused on cultural understanding and real-world application.
